Hardware Setup
This is the hardware you will need (except the computer).
- MicroBird Camera
- xFlash
- Molex Mini Splitter
- xFlash Cable
- Coax Cable
- USB Cable
- AC/DC Power Adapter 15W
- Cam 2 USB Dongle
Camera and Flashes
Start by connecting one of the xflash cables to the camera.
Connect that cable’s other end to the Molex Mini Splitter.
Connect the two xFlash cables from the Molex Mini Splitter to each xflash.
It should now look something like this.

Now connect the Coax Cable from the camera to the Cam 2 USB Dongle.
Power and USB connection
Turn the Cam 2 USB dongle around and connect the AC/DC power and the USB-C connector.

Running two systems in tandem
If you intend to run two systems in the same environment (Pilot and Co-pilot) you need to de-sync the two systems.
This is done by connecting a sync cable between the two Cam 2 USB dongles.
